I have restored links to all of the current player profiles and updated the archived member profiles - all 25 former profiles are now linked with their join and parting dates, for posterity. I did not leave the ranks listed as most of that information has been lost. Please report any broken links to kristin@venoma.org.
The game guide is now sadly out of date, especially with the addition of the witch class - I will try to update this over the next couple of months, but for now, please consider the game guide archival and -not- current. I highly recommend using pkzone.org for most of your informational needs. Hopefully we can soon get Zore to upload his many zmud map files and thus become a useful resource once again!

The server hosting the website ran into some.. security issues, shall we say. Therefore, most of the updates that have been made to the site have been lost - however we should have everything back to normal in a day or 2. The game guide, ever useful, is fine - the profiles are all still intact but not linked. Thank you for your patience - at least, for anyone still using this site! *g*

I updated the Member Profile list to reflect the members who left and the new members we gained. Old members who left have their profiles listed as Archived. They may be gone but they are not forgotten.

Also. New members who wish to obtain a rank higher than Acolyte will need to submit a complete player profile for the website. Upon completion of your profile you will receive the rank of Loyal Devotee and be eligible for rank promotions.

Well, if you haven't noticed. Well actually everyone did except me who was out of town at the time, but I have been made a co-owner of Diversity. All I can say is thanks to Underdog and that I'll try my best to keep the clan together and try to restore the glory the name Diversity once had. I'm doing my best to Hero my character so that we don't get stomped on all that much by bigger older characters.

Anyway thanks alot in believing in me as a clan leader.

Well so far I haven't heard any news on when the judging will be finished. I'm hoping it's sometime soon, but like I've said on clan talk, last year took about 2 months. I'm hoping it's soon because the anticipation is killing me.

In other news I was thinking of initating a new rule. Basically what it'll come down to is that all new members will stay at the lowest rank until they submit a complete player profile for the website. Once that has been completed they will be considered a "Loyal Devotee" and get that rank and will be eligible for future promotions.

Those currently in the clan who did not send in a player profile for the website will be frozen at their current rank until one is sent in. If that is not enough encouragement, I might consider dropping your rank a level each week you don't turn one in. Once you've turned one in, your prior rank will be restored.

Also, I've had complaints about the message board not letting you log in, or immediately logging you back out as soon as you log in. I haven't experienced the problem but I'm looking into it. I may just change message board software to phpbb which is a bit nicer and is database driven rather than flat-files.

I'm looking for some volunteers for the game guide section. I need people to start making a list of equipment and their locations within the game as to where one can go to obtain that equipment. Once we get the data we can build some PHP applications for pulling that data. I also will be looking for people to help with the city guides. They are meant to be like a type of tourist guide to the city with descriptions about the various shops and things in the city. I'll finish working on the lasler city guide so you can get an idea of what I'm looking for. They should be detailed and include any "history" you can find out about.

We still got a week left before the website needs to be turned in for judging. Please be sure that you have your player profiles completed before then. We also have 3 prize eligibility spots open. First come first serve. You must turn in a COMPLETE profile to be eligible. Read the message board for details of what you need completed.
