At a young age, Aalixus of Evanwaters travelled the vast lands of Alyria under the careful guidance of his father, Eirthindir Llorndais - Third Paladin of the Runic Order. The two of them, father and son, travelled through cities, over mountains, past forests and into barren lands, helping those who were in need of aid and smiting evil where evil lurks. It was Eirthindir's hope and ambition that his son would one day follow his footsteps in becoming a mighty Paladin, striving to uphold all that is good and just. Eirthindir's efforts did not go to waste and a fire grew within young Aalixus to become a true holy knight.
